Pieris japonica, Dorothy Wyckoff'
A compact, bushy evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves which are flushed bronze in winter. Panicles of reddish-purple buds open to slightly fragrant pale pink flowers which fade to white. Grows to 4' tall and 3' wide. Plant in partial shade or filtered sun and water regularly - weekly or more often in extreme heat. Deer tolerant.
